Tathra Beach House Holiday Apartments

The 4 bedroom apartment was comfortable, clean and spacious but to no fault of Tathra Beach House the noise from the coffee shop next door will have you awake from about 6am every day. Special thanks to Murray for his helpful fishing information. We loved everything everything Tathra had to offer on our first visit.

I cannot believe I had never found this place before after all the years I have been going to Tathra. This place is a gem. Great prices, beautiful rooms. I even had ocean views from inside my apartment and on my balcony without the price of ocean views accommodation. The surrounds were magnificent. Manicured gardens, fish ponds with beautiful carp, 2 swimming pools, a swim spa and a spa. The BBQ area was clean, large and a great place to sit and have a drink while you cook. They also did not charge for the BBQ like most places seem to do. The staff were so happy and friendly that they honestly seemed like they enjoy going to work each day. This was the office staff, the cleaning staff, the gardeners, pool cleaners - everyone! They were all happy! The position of Tathra Beach House was also a plus. Across the road from the beach, the shops at the end of the driveway, the bowling club 2 minute walk away and the country club about 8 minutes walk. Everything was so perfect, I was wondering when I would find something negative to say about this place, but it is just not possible. Congratulations to everyone associated with Tathra Beach House, you provided a 5 star resort style holiday option without the 5 star resort price. Cant wait to be back again real soon. We took the combination of 23a and 23b for a 2 bedroom easy access apartment. The layout and design of the apartment was perfect for walkers and wheelchairs. The bathrooms are huge with slide in showers, rails and shower seat. There were no trip hazards, plenty of space in the living area, a laundry and a dishwasher. An outdoor area provided a private terrace with BBQ. Excellent accommodation with friendly and efficient staff.

We just came back from five days here and absolutely loved the place. It’s a proper mini-resort, beautifully landscaped and well looked-after - you can tell that the management and staff know what they’re doing and really care. Tathra itself is gorgeous. The beach is stunning and perfect for kids, the bushland is great for walks and mountain biking and full of life. And for a tiny place, the cafes, restaurants and pub are amazing quality. New favourite place - we’re planning to go back.

What a great location! Just across the road from a beautiful long beach with several cafes, shops, etc within close walking distance. Tathra is delightful! We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with ocean view and spa on the balcony. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The master bedroom bed was super comfortable too. Unfortunately we did not have time to use the spa, pool or jacuzzi, however all looked well maintained and very inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful. Prior to our arrival , we received an email providing directions, suggestions, etc. Being new to this area , we really appreciated this information. Highly recommend, would love to bring the family for another stay! Thank you to Rob and his team!

Just completed yet another return visit to Tathra Beach House. Our family loves this place! In fact the little grandchildren refer to it as Magic Beach. Ideally located central to cafes, general store, play ground and beach. Just park the car and walk! If you wish to explore the far south coast, Tathra is a perfect jumping off point for short day trips to Central Tilba, Bermagui, Merimbula, Pambula Eden or Candelo - thinking quaint shops, glorious scenery and great cafes. We again stayed in the four bedroom residence at the front of complex. Extremely comfortable, spacious and has sea views. With two living rooms it’s perfect for a multigenerational family holiday. Kitchen is large with full size appliances and barbecue balcony, as well as a huge deck overlooking the beach. Beds very comfortable. The Beach House team are friendly and were most accommodating in providing high chairs etc for tiny tots. Highly recommend.
